For the entire episode, Kurt is followed around by someone in a gorilla suit. And the gorilla leaves him romantic notes and hands him flowers and hershey kisses, though never speaks. And Kurt’s flattered and amused by it, and at first assumes Blaine’s behind it. Perhaps not wearing the suit himself, but having hired someone to do it for him, considering he’s still out from school. And after school one day, when he goes to visit Blaine after the eye surgery, they’re hanging out in his room, and Kurt casually mentions the gorilla. And Blaine’s confused, because what the hell? Kurt thinks he’s playing dumb at first—that it’s all part of his little game. Then he realizes it isn’t. And there’s a creepy fucking gorilla following him around, everywhere he goes. So the next time he sees the gorilla, he plays it cool so it won’t suspect what he’s about to do. Then, catching it off guard, he rips the mask off, only to reveal…
